The Spinal Flow “Wave”
Many of the initial changes that occur with Spinal Flow are so slight that you may not notice them unless you pay very close attention or have exceptionally high awareness of your own internal physiology.
As your system becomes more adept at producing change, many people (but not all) actually feel the craniosacral rhythm kick into high gear as it produces a wave-like movement that courses the entire length of your spine.
Does “the wave” happen for everyone? No. Many people process their traumas internally, which is completely okay too.
You first appointment will include questionnaire & assessment 75 mins and includes 30 mins hands on Spinal Flow treatment.
Long term health issues will need additional treatments to enable your body to unwind and adjust.
Treatments are generally a series of twelve sessions but may be more depending on each individual and areas of concern as the nervous system processes and the body adjusts.
We may recommend 2-3 follow on treatments within a week in the first couple of weeks (45mins hands on) to boost your body into a self healing state.
The more frequent the treatments the more your body & nervous system is able to then pickup from where it last had a treatment.
You maybe asked some questions about your general health and the reason for your visit. Treatment times may vary according to your Practitioner. Your Practitioner is skilled to quickly assess and treat appropriately to your needs.
The Spinal Flow Technique is not intended to replace or substitute any medical advice or treatment. It is recommended that you consult your General Practitioner about any health concerns.
The use of this therapy will be guided by the specific needs of the individual client, through assessment and observation.
All treatments are performed whilst you are fully clothed, although some garments may need to be removed or loosened.
As Spinal Flow is focussed on the lower sacrum & spine we would ask that you please wear thin loose fitting clothing.
NO JEANS PLEASE.
